After hours scrolling through Instagram, devouring my favourite blogs, doing my research, I thought I knew what to expect. Yet nothing prepared me for the beauty of Norway. I spent five days in Alesund and Geiranger on the west coast of Norway. It wasn’t a long trip and I didn’t visit many places but I can confidently say Norway is a spectacular country. This part of the world is truly special. It’s definitely a place to add to your wish list.
I visited Alesund in August and was treated to perfect clear sunny weather. This region typically has weather on the cloudier/wetter side so I feel I was one of the lucky few to experience the town like this.
