Carnival of Europe #4

Berlin Wall Tour

Carnival of Europe #4

Littlemissitchyfeet shares her road trip through Emilia Romagna in northern Italy. Medieval towns, village festivals and slow food are three of the top reasons to visit Italy and this road trip has them all.

If you’re heading to Paris, Andi from Misadventures with Andi has a guide to dining out in Paris. I second the tip on heading straight to your local boulangerie/patisserie for the best breakfast in Paris.

Zhu from Correr Es Mi Destino writes about her frustration with the French and the way they butcher the English language (my words not hers, she put it more politely).

One of the reasons I love Berlin so much is that I’m fascinated by its Cold War history. Jen from The Vacation Gals recently took a bike tour of the Berlin Wall which I would love to do one day. It covers the city’s GDR era history as well as a bit of sightseeing.

The Blonde Gypsy went to Poland to attend a music festival. I’m all for travelling to see bands play and Larissa had a particularly interesting experience at the Heineken Open’er Festival in Gdynia.

That’s it for the August carnival!
